What the Future Holds

Many people wonder how their future would be like...icing on top of a cake or just plain cream or just the crust? The problem here is life has become very unpredictable in the 21st century. In the past, we were told to "study hard, work hard" as the formula of success but now, the 21st century is of a different story. If you work hard, you only eat bread. IF you work double or triple hard, you make a decent living. But if you work smart, you get a fat chunk of meat, particularly beef! Oh, I smell a rat hiding somewhere...

So, what does it mean by work smart? As an example, one way of being smart is to be a parasite sucking blood from the host. I am sure everyone knows at least one parasite in this complex society. And I call that Smart Parasite of the Generation O. But why Generation O?

The answer is simple. There is nothing left for this generation as everything is already "parasited." What is left is just the crumbs. Sadly, no one of us realises what has happened. We continue striving to continue getting education when it is clear that education doesnt guarantee success. It is such a disappointment when it comes to college education.

I do agree with what KingCY mentioned. We don't work and exhaust ourselves til death. But why are there such people in the Land of the Robots? I really wonder and am still wondering now. Sadly, my advices fall on deaf ears (that is to take a breather when work becoes unbearable. Unfortunately, most people chose to be robots. Life is all about enjoying every second of your working life, love life, family life or even study life. Once you miss it, there is no turning back. Devoting your life to your profession is not a wise idea but many become too engrossed with work that family and social life are neglected. The so called White American owned company with American quality and benefits is nonetheless, a locally owned company which thrives under an Mat Salleh name. Practically, there is nothing in it, just vows.

Life on the Moon is different from life on the Land of Robots. There is always plenty of wine for celebration while at work. I may have come too late for the party but one thing is for sure...Moonlings breathe on oxygen while Robots don't. What more..they have rosy pink cheeks while Robots only have wornout faces.

Jumping mother ship is proven to be the right choice. Till then,
Cheers! and have a Happy New Year ahead.
